Piano Lessons - Music Advising

Studio Policy

Practice - A piano or keyboard is required in the home for daily practice. Daily practice is essential for progress and development

Tuition Payments - Tuition is due at the first lesson of each month. Early tuition payments are always appreciated :)

(an early payment is payment paid on the last lesson of the month for the following month) :).

Tuition payments can be made with cash, check, or credit card, whichever is most convenient for you. Payments can also be made on the 1st of each month with a credit card via Auto-Pay for your convenience.

Recitals, Festivals, and Student Achievement Test - Students are strongly encouraged to practice towards performance in the fall or spring recital, as well as the yearly Student Achievement Test, and NFMC Festival.

Absences and Make Up Lessons - During the school year (Sep-June), each student's weekly time slot is reserved in advance. If a student is absent during the month, (vacation, sports, etc), tuition for the missed lesson is still required. A credit can only be given if the teacher is absent. Missed lessons will be made up at some point during the month, or later in the semester. Exceptions to the policy can only be given in extreme cases, such as family emergencies.

Lesson Termination - If a student has to terminate lessons, 30 days notice is required.
